Color Blindness Camera - Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
Color Blindness Camera is built so that it does not collect any data. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device.
Data collection
Color Blindness Camera collects no data. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no account system, no telemetry, and no networking of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
Camera
Color Blindness Camera asks for camera access to show a live, side-by-side color vision simulation. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device, in memory, for display only. They are never recorded, saved, analyzed for any other purpose, or sent anywhere.
Photos
When you choose a photo, Color Blindness Camera uses the system photo picker, which gives the app access only to image(s) you select — the app never requests or receives access to your photo library. Each selected image is processed on device for display only.
Retention, deletion, and permissions
Because Color Blindness Camera does not collect or store personal data, there is no user data for the developer to retain, provide, or delete. You can revoke camera permission at any time in the iOS Settings app. Photo access is limited to the individual images you choose in the system picker.
Sharing
Sharing is entirely user-initiated. When you tap Share, the app renders a comparison image on your device, shows you a preview, and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet only if you proceed. Where that image goes from there is controlled by you and the app you share it to. Color Blindness Camera keeps no copy.
Children’s privacy
Color Blindness Camera does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes any of the above (for example, by adding opt-in analytics), this policy will be updated and the change will be reflected in the app’s App Store privacy details before release.
