Does this sound painfully familiar?

You’re playing inbox whack-a-mole all day, reacting to others.

There’s twice as much demand for your time as there is actual time.

Your goals, relationships, and — let’s be honest — your peace of mind are getting squeezed out by everything that’s “urgent”.

No wonder you feel behind and out of control!

The day is in charge of you, instead of you being in charge of the day.

Your schedule has become far too reactive.

It’s exhausting. And while you could go on like this… you don’t want to.

Fortunately, there is a way out.

“After so many years of trying, I finally have a good framework in place for planning my life.”

— Sharon W., software engineer

Imagine a different way of living:

Your inbox stops ruling your day. Instead, you start your day with a plan. You have a clear to-do list of your top priorities, balancing what’s urgent with what’s most important. You’re in full control, so you can focus on what truly matters.

You stop waking up at 2 a.m. worried about what you’ve forgotten. Tasks, commitments, follow-ups, and half-formed ideas live in a system you trust. Your mind has stopped its frantic overnight inventory checks. You sleep like someone who’s in control. Because you are!

Evenings and weekends are yours again. You no longer need evenings to tackle a project you didn’t have time for during the day or Sundays to catch up on the week’s emails. Work gets done during work hours.

No more asking yourself, “What did I even do today?” Your priorities are perfectly clear and you execute on them. You prioritize strategic work that moves the needle, not just whichever email or message screams for your attention the loudest.

Start each day with an intentional to-do list that matches your priorities. So your “important, but not urgent” work finally gets the attention it deserves.

And picture this:

You develop the single habit that determines whether your system lasts 2 weeks or 20 years. Every week, in 30 minutes, you’ll process your inboxes, reset your system, clarify your priorities, and prepare for a proactive Monday where you are in charge.

You stop spending every ounce of energy just keeping your head above water. You finally have bandwidth for that long-postponed project. For the work that compounds. For the kind of work that gets you promoted, lands a big client, or grows your revenue.

You stop feeling guilty about the things you’re not doing. You have a conscious, deliberate “not now” list. So instead of vaguely feeling like you should be doing more, you know exactly what you’ve chosen to set aside and why, and when you’ll revisit it.

Your boss, your clients, your partner — they don’t know what changed. They just see you operating at a different level. They see you being more prepared, more present, and more organized than anyone else in the room. (And they love you for it.)

You’ll capture everything you need to do to a trusted system, so you can prioritize proactively.

“Managing 500 employees and a $40 million budget means I have a lot of projects and tasks.

Thanks to Peter I’m starting the week super-charged with my schedule and tasks lined up.”

— Paul C.

You will never get on top of things by squeezing in “one more task” between meetings

When your inbox is overflowing, the natural tendency is to move a little faster.

Can you squeeze in one more task between meetings?

Can you work on Sunday to clear your backlog?

Can you force yourself to be more disciplined?

But this isn’t sustainable.

If you try to run harder forever, you will burn out. Or, if you do a short sprint, you’ll feel behind again as soon as it’s over.

How can you get out of “reactive mode” for good?

You need a time management system that sticks

To feel in control again, you need a system that helps you plan and prioritize. A system to help you make better decisions about what deserves your time, when.

Without such a system, you’ll never stop frantically playing inbox whack-a-mole during the day and trying to catch up on important work in the evenings.

Without such a system, “urgent” will always beat “important”.

Your system needs three key components:

  • The right tools that you enjoy using
  • The right workflows to process emails, messages, meetings, goals, ideas, priorities, and so on
  • The right habits, so you consistently use your system and make it stick

That’s the key to going from reactive to strategic.

Organize Your Life is the 6-week live group program where we’ll install that system together.

“Peter’s method will have you making progress towards your goals, rather than grinding through another quarter and being able to say ‘I made it’ but without having navigated meaningfully in any particular direction, or being able to tick a goal off of the list.”

— J.P. M.

Avoid another “false start” in getting on top of things

Ever watched a random YouTube video or read a LinkedIn post about managing your time and thought, “if I could just do this, I’d be all set”?

The information in that video or post might truly be excellent.

But trying to cobble together a time management system from random videos and posts is like trying to get in shape by watching fitness content on your couch.

The odds of success are… suboptimal.

Without a trainer to:

  • Assess where you are right now
  • Tell you which exercises give you the best bang for your buck (and which to avoid)
  • Watch your form as you’re doing the reps
  • And adjust when something isn’t working…

You’ll just keep starting and stopping forever!

It’s the same with your time management.

I know this because for over 7 years, I’ve been helping people build productivity systems that not only work but actually stick.

I’ve worked with everyone from small business owners to a professor at Harvard Business School to a billionaire whose family office employs hundreds of staff.

The pattern is always the same:

The people who get the best results are those who get personal help from an expert.

Think of it this way. How much time would you waste trying to figure out, once again, on your own:

  • Why your best work keeps getting pushed to “next week” — and how to make it happen this week?
  • How to stop saying “yes” to things that crowd out your real priorities?
  • Which apps and tools actually fit your workflow — and how to set them up so they stay organized?
  • Why your previous systems always fell apart after a few weeks — and what to do differently?
  • How to run a weekly review that takes 30 minutes and keeps your entire system running for years?

Don’t reinvent the wheel. Let me take these problems off your shoulders.

It’s the difference between another false start — and a system that will still help you be your best self years from now.

We’ll lock in your weekly review routine, so you’ll always be on top of things and nothing will slip through the cracks.

“For the first time in a long time, I’m actually starting to consider myself ‘organized’. The spillover effect is noticeable too: organizing my office, starting a morning routine, etc.”

— Bob W.

How the program works

The Organize Your Life program is a 6-week guided group program.

You’ll get access to hands-on calls, an exclusive members-only support space, and easy templates to follow.

In just six short weeks, we’ll implement a proven time management system, refine it for your unique needs, and troubleshoot and stress-test it.

Here’s the program flow:

  1. You’ll fill out an intake form that helps me understand your context.
  2. You’ll get access to twice-weekly calls for implementation and for troubleshooting.
  3. In between calls, you’ll get my support and we’ll continue to troubleshoot in the members-only support space.
  4. Optionally, you can join a smaller, peer-to-peer accountability group for extra motivation and inspiration.

And here’s the weekly rhythm:

  • Each Tuesday, we’ll have a live Theory + Action session where I’ll teach one component of the system and you’ll start implementing right away.
  • Each Thursday, we’ll have office hours. This is Q&A, hot-seat style coaching, and troubleshooting. I’ll help you get unstuck in real time.
  • In between calls, you’ll continue to implement that week’s building block by following along with bite-sized action steps.

The Tuesday calls are 1 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. US Eastern. The Thursday calls are 1 – 2 p.m. US Eastern.

Of course you’ll have lifetime access to the curriculum and to the live session recordings.

Get real-time support from Peter during weekly office hours.

“I no longer obsess over getting the most tasks done.

I feel a much deeper sense of purpose and satisfaction as I complete tasks in key projects that help me reach my bigger goals.”

— Joel C.

The 6-week program curriculum

Week 1: Stop carrying your life in your head

We’ll do a guided brain dump to get every task, project, and “oh, I should really…” out of your head and into one trusted place. Then we’ll set up the simple structure that tells you exactly what goes where.

You’ll walk away with: a system that holds every open loop in your life… and a quieter mind!

Week 2: Lock in the #1 time management habit

Every productivity system starts to decay the moment you build it. Lists go stale, projects drift — and within a few weeks, you're winging it again. One habit prevents that: the weekly review. It's the single habit that determines whether your system lasts two weeks or twenty years. We'll build your personal review checklist, put it on your calendar, and do your first weekly review together.

You'll walk away with: a 30-minute weekly ritual that keeps your entire system trustworthy — and your first review already done.

Week 3: Own your days

We’ll implement a simple daily planning ritual that balances what’s urgent with what’s important. We’ll also set up workflows for the places where commitments go to disappear, such as emails that need action, meetings that create follow-ups, and things you’ve delegated that you need to track.

You’ll walk away with: a 10-minute daily planning routine so you’ll be proactive every day, rather than reactive.

Week 4: Decide what truly deserves your time

A perfectly organized list of the wrong things is still a wasted year. This week, we zoom out. We get clear on what actually matters in your life right now, turn those priorities into clear action steps, and — just as important — create your “not now” list.

You’ll walk away with: your high-level priorities for the coming months — and permission to ignore the rest, so you can finally focus.

Week 5: Protect your focus

Deciding what matters is one thing. Defending it against a world of meetings, notifications, and “got a minute?” is another. This week, we’ll carve real focus time into your calendar. We’ll cut the interruptions that fragment your days. And we’ll clarify what you need to say “no” to — politely, but clearly.

(One of my clients transformed his entire work life with a single protected hour each morning. This is where you build yours.)

You’ll walk away with: protected time on your calendar for the work that actually moves the needle — and the boundaries to keep it there.

Week 6: Stay on track for the long term

By this point, we’ll have installed your time management system. You’re being much more proactive and strategic with your days. Now, we make sure your system will survive the inevitable setbacks you’ll encounter. We’ll simplify anything that’s gotten too complicated and we’ll create your recovery plan, so you can get back on track when a difficult week knocks you off course.

You’ll walk away with: a system that sticks!

With a weekly review checklist tailored to you, you’ll finally make this crucial habit stick.

The Organize Your Life program lasts six weeks.

These sessions happen 3, 6, 9, and 12 months after the program ends.

They are there to make sure your system sticks!

We’ll check in: how’s your system doing? Are you still following the program principles? But mainly, we’ll troubleshoot what’s still not working 100% for you.

Previous program participants absolutely loved the quarterly Accountability Sessions, saying they were integral for staying on track long-term.

I normally charge $150 each for access to these Accountability Sessions (for a total of $600)…

But I really want you to take back control of your time once and for all. So I’m including them as a complimentary bonus with the program.

Make sure you get these accountability sessions on your calendar!

This program is for you if…

  • You’re much too reactive and want to be proactive and strategic.
  • You struggle to prioritize effectively.
  • You know there’s a better way and you’re ready to install the system.
  • You want to skip years of trial and error and just implement a system that’s worked for thousands of people.

It’s not for you if…

  • You want a purely 1:1 experience. Check out my executive consulting packages instead.
  • You’re looking for a magic app or “one weird trick” that fixes everything overnight. That doesn’t exist.
  • You want me to fix your team’s operations. This program is about taking back control of your time by installing a personal productivity system.

Case study: Rob the wealth advisor

Rob is a wealth advisor who manages investment portfolios for high-net-worth families.

Before I worked with Rob, he was spending his entire day glued to his Outlook inbox — terrified he’d miss something important from a client.

You see, if he missed something, a client might not feel seen. They might jump ship to a competitor!

Rob’s company had even built him a dashboard that would automatically flag client portfolio changes worth discussing. So he could proactively reach out to his clients and be really on top of things.

But Rob could never find time to set up the dashboard.

He was too busy reacting to all of those incoming emails.

So step #1 on Rob’s personal productivity roadmap was a simple change:

A one-hour focus block at the start of every weekday. No email until 10 a.m. That’s it.

Before we even got to anything else, like reorganizing his task management system or mapping out his high-level priorities, we helped Rob focus on a strategic project for just an hour a day.

And it made a massive difference.

Within weeks, he was proactively reaching out to clients, using a simple spreadsheet (no need for that complicated dashboard, in the end).

Clients were thanking him for being so on top of things.

Rob was feeling ahead, instead of behind.

Same job, same clients, same work hours. But a completely different experience.

It took an outside expert for Rob to recognize that he needed to stop tweaking his task manager (OmniFocus) and instead needed a small tweak to his schedule, which changed everything.

I was perpetually overwhelmed too, until…

My first job out of college was in litigation consulting.

I ran complex analyses for Fortune 500 companies getting sued for millions of dollars.

As my career advanced, I started to feel overwhelmed. Clients were happy, but I felt miserable.

I faced so many projects and meetings and deadlines and emails. I struggled to stay on top of it all.

I managed, by pushing myself and working harder. Sometimes I stayed at the office past midnight.

That worked for a while, but eventually it became too much and I found myself sitting on the couch at home, burned out. I never returned to that job.

After I recovered, I decided there had to be a better way to handle all of the responsibilities life throws at us.

So I developed a system to manage my time. I clarified my priorities, sorted out my to-dos, and protected my focus time.

Soon, people noticed I was always on top of stuff. They asked how I did it. So I taught them my system.

I started by sharing simple tutorials on YouTube, but these days my clients even include a billionaire who flies me in for in-person coaching.

Now you can learn my system, too.

The Organize Your Life program is everything I know about installing a time management system that works and actually sticks, with 6 weeks of guided, personal support.

(For a fraction of the day rate I charge the billionaire!)

This program is what I wish existed when I was figuring this out for myself.

— Peter Akkies

“I have purchased courses on productivity before, however none were as well laid out as this one.”

— Annez de S.

“I decluttered my mind and can now come back after feeling overwhelmed.

I also really liked the emphasis on tailoring a system that works for me.”

— Angela M.

“I was doing another course around the same time I took Peter’s.

I quit the other course.

But after Peter’s program, I was charged up and ready to hit my to-do lists flying!”

— Ralph R.

“Peter’s course brought a couple of breakthrough moments for me that were quite literally life changing.

I know that sounds dramatic, but when everything you do stems from this workflow system, and someone removes a clog from your system, it really is life changing.”

— Mark H.

I’m much less overwhelmed by the day-to-day.”

— Kevin O.

“As a business owner/manager, I'm often giving directives and figuring things out. It was so great to have someone tell me what to do!

I really liked being able to sit down and follow a process that someone else already figured out.”

— Carol Lynn R.

— Joakim Ö.

“It’s only been a week since I bought Peter’s course and my life hasn’t felt this organized ever.”

A year from now, you’ll wish you’d started today

Let me paint two pictures:

Picture 1: You decide to figure it out on your own.

You download another app, maybe watch a few more videos.

It works for a week or two. Then it doesn’t.

A year from now, you’re still in the same cycle. Still reactive, still overwhelmed, still waking up with that nagging feeling.

Except now you’ve lost another 52 weeks of your best, most strategic work.

Another year of evenings and weekends surrendered.

Another year of operating below your potential while telling yourself, “things will calm down soon”.

Picture 2: You follow along with someone who’s helped 5,000+ people do this.

In 6 weeks, your system is running.

You’ve got clarity on your priorities, a clean inbox, a workflow that handles the chaos, and — for the first time in years — the confidence that you’re genuinely on top of things.

Your most strategic work is happening. The 2 a.m. wake-ups have stopped.

And every week from now on, you’re compounding the benefit.

You’re feeling calmer, you’re getting more of the most important work done, and you’re much more focused.

I’ve helped thousands of people make this exact transition…

And everybody wishes they’d started sooner!

Don’t waste another year telling yourself that you will get this sorted “someday”.

Let’s take back control of your time, once and for all.

— Peter
